Bear in mind that all auction houses in Barcelona add almost a 20% premium to the selling price.
Bonanova Subastas - Auction House

Balcli's Auction House

Balcli's is probably where you will find the most interesting pieces, but take into account that all auction houses in Barcelona mainly deal with Catalan painters. For a broader range of Spanish art and antiques, Madrid is definitely the place to go.
Lamas Bolaño Auction House
Rosselló 229 - tel. 93 4151766Next to Balcli's, this house offers art and antiques auctions roughly every two months. Here you can find paintings by important names, but also affordable paintings by lesser-known artists. This auction house has another branch in Madrid.
Subarna Auction House
Consell de Cent 295 - tel. 93 2156518Consell de Cent is a street with many art galleries, but it also holds this auction house, which offers art and antiques auctions every two months or so. It has a big exhibition area and offers a wide selection of paintings, from antique to contemporary.
Subastas Brok - Auction House
Pau Claris 167 - tel. 93 2155535The most active of the auction houses, it offers auctions every month except for August. This house mainly deals with paintings, but it also features sculptures and art books. Sometimes it organises contemporary art auctions. The starting prices are approximate, which means that you can get very low prices at times (the starting bid price can be as low as 10€).
Born Subastas - Auction House
Paseo de San Juan 60 - tel. 93 2683455Offers art and antiques auctions almost every month. The quality is quite irregular, but sometimes you can find good deals, either with paintings or furniture.
La Suite - Auction House and Gallery
Juan de Austria 91 - tel. 93 3001477The least centrally located of the auction houses, but not the least interesting, it alternatively holds auctions and art gallery exhibitions in turn. It holds around 5 auctions per year. Starting prices are a bit high.
