"Cau Ferrat" Museum
Sitges - tel. 93 8940364A former residence of Santiago Rusiñol, this museum contains works by Rusiñol and other important painters of his time like Ramon Casas, Utrillo, Clarasó, Mas i Fondevila, Regoyos, Zuloaga, Picasso, Pitchot and Anglada Camarasa. Also in Sitges, it is recommended to visit two more old residences converted into museums: the Palau Maricel and the Romantic Museum.
The village of Sitges is also a good place to visit art galleries.
Víctor Balaguer Museum & Library
Vilanova i la Geltrú - tel. 93 8154202This fine building in Vilanova holds a library and a museum of art, mainly with Catalan paintings. It also has a section devoted to the archaeology and ethnography of different cultures.

Fundació Tharrats
Pineda de Mar - tel. 93 7671560It contains a big collection of graphic art, both by Joan Josep Tharrats and other Spanish artists (Miró, Tàpies, Brossa, Clavé, Subirachs, Guinovart, Ponç, Ràfols Casamada, Hernández Pijuan, Perejaume, Amat, Niebla and others). Many international artists are also represented (Bechtold, Faber, Vostell, Duchamp, Laurencin, Manessier, Rouault, Villon, Moore, Heckel, Matta, Narotzky...). Admission is free.
Fundació Palau
Caldes d'Estrac - tel. 93 7913593This foundation holds the collection of Josep Palau i Fabre, who was a friend of Picasso. The museum has an area dedicated to Picasso, another containing important cantalan paintings from the XX century, and another devoted to contemporary art.
Centro Cultural Tecla Sala
Hospitalet - tel. 93 4029400This former industrial building holds a library and also temporary exhibitions of contemporary artists, both emerging and recognized. Admission is free.
Badalona Museum
