Included in the admission price of El Pueblo Español is this good collection of contemporary art featuring different artists. A nice sculpture garden complements this collection.

"El Pueblo Español" was buit in Montjuic for the 1929 Universal Exhibition in Barcelona. This open-air museum is comprised by 117 buildings (with its streets and squares) that sinthesize the Spanish arquitecture and serves as a craft showcase for Spain.

This foundation has two museums in Torroella de Montgrí and Palafrugell (Girona). It is there, and not in Barcelona, where you can see the real art collection of the foundation.

Taller Cuixart

Placeta Montcada 7 - tel. 93 3191947

Exhibition of the work of Modest Cuixart, a contemporary Catalan painter.

Palmero Museum

Judea 2 - tel. 93 2126551

The art of this "saga" of painters (started with Alfredo or "Maestro" Palmero) is to be liked or disliked, but the self-glorification found on their web page caused me some antagonism. Visit with caution.
